Why you must eat itSeven grades of strength, and the No.7 claims to be the strongest matcha gelato in the world. Bitterness arrives before sweetness, and only then does the tea aroma rise. If you cannot decide, order No.7 beside No.5 and the difference becomes obvious. Closes at 5pm.

A Japanese tea merchant trading since the late Edo period, serving gelato in partnership with Nanaya of Shizuoka. Tea leaves are still the main business, so you can buy pots and leaves at the back of the shop. It sits on a quiet street in Asakusa 3-chome, north of the temple.
