×Sangayaki (grilled namero)
Why you must eat itNamero wrapped in a shiso leaf and grilled — a Boso home dish. Even if raw namero is not for you, grilling makes it fragrant and easy. Miso, fish and scallion become one, good with rice or drink. It began with fishermen grilling leftover namero to keep it. One piece as you walk.
Sangayaki is grilled namero, a Boso home dish whose name is said to come from fishermen eating it up in the hills (sanga). At Kamogawa fish shops it often appears beside namero. Some shops let you take it away, so it works as a gift too.
