Why you must eat itSmall pieces of chicken or beef, marinated in turmeric, are skewered on bamboo and fanned over charcoal. The plate carries a peanut sauce, cut onion, cucumber and pressed rice (ketupat). Dip a skewer through the peanut sauce and take it with the rice. You can order by the stick, so line them beside other plates and eat a little at a time. At a stall where the charcoal smoke drifts on the sea wind.
