Why you must eat itEgg blown open in very hot oil with crab meat held inside. The surface is as light as cotton; bite it and the oil falls away, leaving only crab. It is the same crab-and-egg idea as Jay Fai further on, at a fraction of the price. Eat this one first and the difference becomes legible.
A family-run house founded in 1996 that has cooked for the royal household, listed in the Michelin Bib Gourmand. The Dinso Road branch is the easiest to reach in the old city. Closed Sundays and shut by 7:30pm, so go early.
