×Mango Sticky Rice
ข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง
Why you must eat itWarm glutinous rice soaked in coconut cream, served beside slices of ripe mango. The point of the dish is cold and warm arriving in the mouth together. Season runs March to June; outside it, the price climbs and the fragrance drops. Carts set up by the temple side gate in the evening.
Wat Chana Songkhram sits between Khao San and Rambuttri, and the lane along its wall becomes stall territory from late afternoon. The mango is usually Nam Dok Mai, cut to order once the skin has turned fully yellow.
