Kissa Doremi, a retro coffee house at the foot of Shinsekai's Tsutenkaku, is known for a large pudding in a metal dish and a spicy Sumatra curry. The Showa-flavoured room bustles with tourists and locals, open straight through from morning. The pudding keeps its old-fashioned form with cream and a cherry, and a steady stream come for the sweet plate. Easy to use as a break between kushikatsu shops.
