Fish balls are the emblem of Hong Kong street snacks, their stalls scattered along the streets of Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok. Beyond the curry sauce, the same stall skewers cheung fun, siu mai and pig skin. At a small unmarked window you point to order and take it on a bamboo stick.
