Why you must eat itThick toast stacked into a cube, its outside buttered and griddled until it browns, the corners trimmed off, ice cream and whipped cream set on top. The surface cracks audibly while the inside stays warm and damp. You pour the honey yourself and spoon it up with the melting ice cream. Sweet enough that one shared between two is the right amount.
After You is a dessert cafe that began in Thonglor, and this neighbourhood holds its original shop. Branches now cover Bangkok, but it started on this soi. Alongside the honey toast, the Kakigori Shibuya shaved ice runs all year.
